Listen to Lonely Beta Woman
The idea about this piece came while playing The Dawn Of Beta. That melody reminded me of something but it took me some time to recall what it was. Then I recalled what it was: “Lonely Woman” by Ornette Coleman from his album “The Shape Of Jazz To Come” (1959).
The cover art is a citation of the “Lonely Woman” album by the Modern Jazz Quartet (1962).
This is a transcription of the song I found on the internet.
I only used the A section of the original song for my version.
What’s new, besides my electronic arrangement, is the tuning system: Carlos Beta.
The drone sound comes from Spectrasonics Omnisphere while the 2 lead sounds come from Camel Audio Alchemy.
