Definition:

Trigger finger is a condition in which one of your fingers gets stuck in a bent position. Your finger may bend or straighten with a snap — like a trigger being pulled and released. Stiffness and locking tend to be worse after periods of inactivity, such as when you wake up in the morning.

I had this problem on my left ring finger. In the morning if I closed my fist I had to use the other hand to straighten that finger up that otherwise was locked in a bent position.

Paida” really helped greatly reducing this problem with the simple slapping I do every morning. I have never had that finger locked in a bent position anymore since starting these exercises.
